Necklace Layering Tips

Follow these tips to achieve the best necklace layering looks:

1. Use one statement necklace to create a focal point. Pendants are optional.
2. Dangle each necklace from one end to ensure it’s not twisted before putting it on.
3. Using chains of different thicknesses will help keep them from tangling.
4. Put on shorter or lighter-weight necklaces first.
5. Leave about 2” between bottoms of necklaces.
6. Use a necklace extender if needed to control proper spacing.
7. Don’t be afraid to mix textures, colors, widths and metals.
8. Wearing too many necklaces can look messy; 2-3 necklaces will keep it neat.
9. If you’re unsure, use a delicate choker (~16”), a short necklace (18-20”), and a bold longer necklace (22”+).
